Amorphophallus paeoniifolius (Dennst.) Nicolson

Herbaceous plant arising from a large corm up to 22 cm in diameter. The petiole reaches up to 1.2 m in length and is typically greenish with white blotches and a smooth surface, though it may sometimes be roughish. The leaf-blade is trisect at the base, and unlike the typical variety, the leaflet bases are not decurrent to the junction of the three main petiolules. The inflorescence features a broadly campanulate spathe (up to 25 x 28 cm) that is light green with whitish patches on the outside and dark purple within. The spadix appendix is broader than long, usually rounded or obtuse, and dark purple. The style is long, measuring 3–4 times the length of the ovary, and the stigma is usually 3-lobed.

Amorphophallus campanulatus Decne. , Amorphophallus dubius Blume
