Loxococcus rupicola (Thwaites) H.Wendl. & Drude

A dull green stem reaching 5–12 m in height and 10–12 cm in diameter. The stem is slightly swollen at the base and closely ringed with conspicuous leaf scars. The plant typically bears about 10 leaves, which are 1.4–2.5 m long and 1–1.2 m wide. The leaf sheaths are dark with a coppery fringe and sparse scales, forming a well-defined crown shaft 15–20 cm long. The petiole is 30–50 cm long, copper-colored, and scaly with an undulate margin. Leaflets are dull green, coriaceous, and lanceolate, arranged in 15–35 pairs. The seed is globose with ruminate endosperm and a basal embryo.මෙම ශාකය වන සත්ත්ව සහ වෘක්ෂලතා ආරක්ෂක ආඥා පනත යටතේ ආරක්ෂිත ශාක විශේෂයක් බැවින් මල් කැපීම, පැල ගැලවීම ඇතුලු ශාකයට හානිවන කිසිදු කටයුත්තක් සිදුකිරීම එම පනතට අනුව දඩුවම් ලැබිය හැකි වරදක් වේ (පෞද්ගලික හිමිකාරිත්වය සතු ස්ථානයක පැවතියද මෙම නීතිය මෙලෙසින්ම අදාල වේ)
